Sundays:
Chairs:  There are openings to help set up chairs on Sunday mornings. See the sign up sheet in the lobby or contact Pete Bolt for more information.

Ushers:  If you would like to volunteer to usher which includes greeting people as they enter the Family Life Center and passing out bulletins, contact Larry Lamberth.

Saturdays:
Lemont Classic Car Club:
CCC will be hosting the Lemont Classic Car Club again every Saturday, weather permitting, starting on Saturday, May 18th from 6-9 p.m.  Be a part of the serving team in the kitchen. Everything is here and ready, we just need able bodies to help serve food. Give a little of your time and fellowship with others. If you have a need to raise some money for a project that your small/living room group is working on, pick a date for a candy/bake sale at the Car Show. Please contact Kelly Sol.

Other Opportunities:

Caring Critters:  Volunteer to cut, sew or stuff Caring Critter Bears for homeless children.  Contact person: Deb Prium

Health Care Ministries: Contact Deb Prium if you would like to participate in CCC's Health Care Ministry which includes periodic CCC sponsored blood drives, health education, caring critters...

P.A.D.S. (Public Action to Deliver Shelter) is a South Suburban shelter that provides shelter and food for homeless people in the south and southwest suburbs. CCC participates in the P.A.D.S. at Sacred Heart Church in Palos Hills one Friday a month by providing and serving dinner.  Any question please contact Carlos Blanco.

There are other opportunities available to help besides cooking.  There are many locations in the south suburbs that can use help with door duty and overnight shifts.  P.A.D.S. is currently in need of help at Trinity Lutheran Church, 9701 Brandt in Oak Lawn on Saturday evenings.  If you are available to help with any four of the shifts between the hours of 5:45 p.m. Saturday and 7:30 a.m. Sunday morning, please contact Donna Petrey at 708-425-3303.

MEALS:  If you like to cook or can order take out then we are asking for your help.  Chris Kiemel has been ill for some time and families have been supplying meals for Bill and Chris.  We would like to add you to the list!  Please go to www.takethemameal.com and sign up to bring a meal.
